My name is Shane Schmidt and I graduated from dental school in 2010. I worked as a general dentist in New Mexico and Texas before specializing in pediatric dentistry. Pediatric dentistry is what I am passionate about and I am excited to use my skills to serve the kids in north east Oregon. I am originally from the North West and am happy to return after many years away. Most of my time is spent on my profession, family, and faith, and when opportunity permits, I love to participate in water-sports.
Absolutely wonderful. We have had many not great experiences in the past but we were treated with such care in every aspect. We were there on a referral but I wish our insurance would allow us to have regular, ongoing care here for our kids.

Dr Shane is absolutely amazing, He genuinely cares about our kiddos and their teeth. Can’t say enough good things about him! If your child needs any teeth care he is the one!! 10/10 recommend!!!! The girls who work in the office are also amazing.

We give Advanced Pediatric Dentistry a 5 out of 5!!! The dental assistant’s were great with my son! They have mastered working with kids and earning their trust and everyone was super nice. We were in and out within 35 minutes and we had specific instructions for our next appointment. The Dentist was also great. He explained every detail of my son’s care plan and had the best interest of the child. Thank you!!!

Today was our first visit for my 3 year old son. I haven’t been to a more fantastic dentist for kiddos. The staff and Dr. house were SUPER friendly and very hands on with my son! They helped calm his nerves and made sure that nothing was going to hurt! We just switched from his previous dentist that just didn’t seem to care. Night and day with this place! I am very much looking forward for my 2 year olds first appointment next month! Keep up the good work guys! Thank you for such awesome service and care!
